Our story began at a kitchen table
NigerianParentsForum was born in 2018 when three mothers in Surulere realised every parenting conversation kept circling back to the same longing — a place to blend Igbo, Yoruba, and Hausa wisdom with modern research. What started as a WhatsApp group became the country's most heartfelt family platform.
Today we serve over 240,000 parents across 36 states, publishing daily guidance that honours our elders' teachings while embracing evidence-based care. Every article is reviewed by Nigerian paediatricians, educators, and cultural custodians.

Family Above All
We honour the extended family system — grandparents, aunties, and cousins all matter in raising a child. No parent walks alone here.
Heritage with Wisdom
We blend our rich cultural traditions with modern research, so children grow proud of where they come from while prepared for where they're going.
Safe, Trusted Space
Every post is moderated with care. We protect your privacy, respect our cultures, and ensure advice comes from qualified Nigerian voices.
This forum reminded me that raising an African child is not a solo journey — it takes a village, and now I have one in my pocket every day.
